Nomad™ is very durable and will outlast marine carpeting 3-4 times. It holds up extremely well in interior an exterior applications. It is UV resistant and impervious to seawater, chemicals, and fuel spills that often damage other coverings. In addition, its great traction underfoot helps prevent slips & falls. It is very soft underfoot and cleans up easily with a hose.

The matting consists of non-woven continuos filament bonded vinyl that resembles 'vinyl spaghetti' (Nomad). It can be purchased with or without backing in 1/2 in. thickness and in five colors specially designed to match standard boat colors.

Unbacked Nomad matting is recommended for working and aft areas. The matting is custom fitted to each boat or dock. It can be attached to existing snaps and can be easily installed by boat canvas shops or the boat owner. Once installed, it provides easy access to hatches and engine compartments.

Backed Nomad matting is recommended for use as runners in boat interiors. The backing keeps spills from getting through and is easily cleaned with a hose and soap or detergents if needed. The backed matting can be installed with snaps or lie free. A non-slip floor liner is available for use under the backed matting if desired.
