Martinson-Nicholls Company, a 50 year old distributor of 3M floor matting and anti-slip tapes, has just completed a unique project for L. R. Development Company of Chicago, Illinois.

The project revolved around a recurring problem faced in the indoor parking garage of a luxury residential high-rise condominium complex. Due to the tightness of parking spaces, residents were damaging their vehicle doors on the concrete pillars and walls upon opening them. The solution was not obvious.

Dan Tennett, construction manager of the project, decided to seek out a solution using the Internet. The Martinson-Nicholls site came up and Dan spotted a 3M™ Nomad™ product he felt would work. Upon calling Martinson-Nicholls, he learned that indeed our product would work. In addition, Martinson-Nicholls had developed a special adhesive for just this type of application.

Result, according to Dan, the material and adhesive worked to perfection. Dan particularly liked the ease of installation.
