3M™ Nomad™ Matting & 3M™ Safety-Walk™ Conformable Tapes & Treads Prevent Slips & Falls on Large House Boat

Martinson-Nicholls has just returned from a trip to Cumberland Lake, Kentucky. The purpose of the trip was to solve slipping and falling in two areas of a new, large house boat.

The first was around the hot tub area. As water got onto the deck, the footing was extremely dangerous.

The second area was a circular stairway from the upper deck to the lower deck.

Two of our custom products were used to solve the problems. First was 3™ Nomad™ Matting. The second was our 3M™  Safety-Walk™ Conformable Tread 500 series, which was used on the diamond plate step surface. Upon completion, the customer was extremely pleased by both the products and our custom installation service.

PS. We also used 3M™ Nomad™ Scraper Matting on the deck of their small speedboat as shown in the pictures.
